Do you shoot all of the weddings you book?
Yes. As the principal photographer at Leigh Warner Weddings, Leigh personally photographs each and every wedding we book.
Do you have a second shooter?
Yes. There are two photographers assigned to every package at Leigh Warner Weddings. This allows us to increase our breadth of coverage at every wedding.
How far in advance should we book you?
As soon as you have your date set, it is worthwhile checking on our availability and securing your booking. Popular dates book out quickly and we consistently take bookings at least 12 months in advance.
Do we receive high-resolution image files?
Yes! Every package includes all of your final images in high resolution on a professionally packaged USB.
Can you give us the RAW files?
Sorry, we do not hand out RAW files
Do we have to buy an album before the wedding?
No, you can purchase an album after the wedding. Once you have your wedding photos you can contact me and we can start the album process when you’re ready.
Do we have to buy a wedding album?
No, that is totally up to you and there is no pressure for you to buy any albums or prints.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! We love to travel for weddings and discovering new places to shoot. We are very happy to chat with you regarding your wedding destination or travelling to your location to capture your special day.
How long have you been shooting weddings?
Leigh has been shooting weddings full time for six years.
Have you shot at _____________ venue?
We have shot at a vast amount of Gold Coast wedding venues and all areas across South East Queensland including the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Toowoomba, Brisbane and Northern New South Wales and the occasional destination wedding. On the rare occasion that we haven’t shot at your chosen venue or location we will endeavour to meet you there prior to your wedding day so that we can familiarise ourselves with the spaces and locations at which you would like to shoot. If this is not possible due to distance or time restraints, we will do all of the online research we possibly can to get to an idea of the lighting and spaces that are available. It is important to note that we have shot in many unpredictable environments and weather conditions and pride ourselves on our adaptability and consistency in capturing signature images in any given situation.
What happens if it is raining?
As noted above, we are extremely adaptable to unpredictable events and are prepared for every event that we are presented with. If you do have rain on your wedding day, we always have enough umbrellas in our vehicle to cover the entire bridal party. We have all of the equipment we need to be able to shoot in varied weather conditions. As such, it is up to you as to what we do or don’t do in rainy wedding day conditions. Some of our most loved and remembered images have been created in the rain!
What is your favourite location shoot?
This is a really hard question to answer! Every couple, every venue, every location and every day bring together unique qualities, personalities, spaces and lighting which keeps things interesting and creates an opportunity to create something new and unique to each couple. We value the ability to capture you in places and environments that you love and mean something special to you. If you happy and comfortable in the location that you are in, then we will have everything we need to create beautiful images for you.
What is your favourite image to take?
See above! We love images that capture who you are and who you love on your special day. We strive to capture the moments that are uniquely yours, surrounded by your family and friends. Our signature images are those that evoke an emotional response from clients and potential clients alike. Those emotions may be captured by us, but they are created by you, our wonderful clients.
How much time do you need to take our wedding images?
There are so many variables that come into play when determining the timeline of your day and how long you allocate to capturing your wedding photography. Some examples of these include: how smothered by kisses and hugs of congratulations you get after your ceremony (and how quickly you would like to be moved on from that!); how many family portraits you would like; whether you would like to travel to chosen locations for your bridal portraits, and whether you would like to capture sunset imagery. In short, there is no limit to the kinds of imagery we can create; we just need to allocate sufficient time. We will accommodate your specific preferences when it comes to this, and will go into greater detail during our initial consultation.
